Description

Cutthroat Pass Lake in North Cascades National Park is about 2 miles from the trailhead and parking lot. There is minimal elevation change when hiking the trail, which suddenly opens up to an amazing view of the shallow lake with majestic mountains in the distance. We loved seeing the varying colors in the fall, with yellow and green bands of grass surrounding the lake, against a rugged backdrop and deep blue sky.
